Day 1: Athens Classic Day Tour with Private Food Tour
Travel back in time to the thriving empire of ancient Greece on a classical tour of Athens. Visit a combination of classic and contemporary sites to gain a holistic picture of the bustling Greek capital; capture photographs of the colossal Panathinaiko Stadium, the venue of the first ever Olympic games; admire the ancient grandeur of the Temple of Olympian Zeus; and browse informative exhibits inside the Acropolis Museum. Gain fascinating insight into the rich legends and myths of ancient Greece.
The day starts with a bus tour through the landmarks of Athens. Guests will see the Panathenian Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896, the National Art Gallery, Syntagma (Constitution) Square, the Old & New Parliament Buildings, the National (former Royal) Gardens, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier guarded by the famous Evzones, the Temple of Zeus with Hadrian’s Gate, as well as various museums and other famous landmarks.
The bus will drop you off at the Acropolis Hill footsteps of Athens. The term acropolis means upper city and many of the city states of ancient Greece are built around an acropolis where the inhabitants would act as a place of refuge in times of invasion.
After visiting Acropolis Hill, you will visit the Acropolis Museum, one of the best museums in the world. The exhibition space is a modern architectural masterpiece located next to the Acropolis.
Day 1, Evening: Dinner at Orizontes Lycabettus Restaurant
This minimalist gourmet restaurant is situated on top of Mount Lycabettus in the heart of Athens, and is reached on a funicular railway.
Atmosphere: The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and offers unbeatable views of the entire city including the Acropolis.

Day 2: Morning Bike Tour at Athenian Riviera
Soak up the scenic sights of the Athens Riviera through a unique bike tour. Breeze along the Attica coastline and feel the freedom of the endless blue sky and sea. Relax on the pristine sands of Mikro or Megalo Kavouri beach, where you’ll enjoy free time to swim and sunbathe (optional). Then, visit the Vouliagmeni Lake and choose to dive into its lukewarm, healing waters.
Along the way, pause for photos and hear fascinating facts about the scenic sights from your guide. On arrival at Megalo Kavouri, relax on the beautiful, blonde sands, or perhaps enjoy a stroll down the beach to one of the many coves that dot the shore. Next, continue on to the seaside town of Vouliagmeni. Cruise past several of the area’s pristine beaches and private marinas, take in picturesque views of gleaming yachts and undulating coastline. Pass through the town’s charming center, filled with quaint taverns and cafes, then stop at Vouliagmeni Lake (Limni Vouliagmenis). Take in stunning views of the huge cliffs that rise dramatically from the part-saltwater, part-spring water lake. Then, if you wish, take a dip in the blue-green waters, which are known for their therapeutic mineral qualities and never drop below 70 degrees Fahrenheit. After approximately 45 minutes, join up with your guide and journey back to the hotel.
Vouliagmeni Lake: The lake lies “sunk” in the remains of a huge limestone cave fed by lukewarm springs welling from underground. The lake’s mineral and brackish waters feel absolutely silky and reportedly possess healing properties for rheumatism and arthritis.
