FAMILY-OWNED AND OPERATED

Sunpro is a family-owned and operated company with 16 (and counting) locations throughout Utah and Idaho. In 1938, Sunpro, or Utah Service as it was called originally, was purchased by W.W. Clyde, founder of the WW Clyde heavy civil construction firm. In 1999, Utah Services merged with J & J Lumber and Building Supply under the name Sunroc Building Materials and later renamed as Sunpro. For over 80 years, Sunpro has been Utah’s top source for building supplies.

The Sunpro offering has continued to grow with the company. The current product line includes insulation, lumber, trusses, decking, custom wood doors and other interior and exterior doors, garage doors, sheds, windows, stair parts, millwork and a complete selection of home and garden supplies through our hardware stores.

INSTALLATION SERVICES AND STORES

In addition to building supplies, we now also offer installed services to professional builders, homeowners and do-it-yourselfers.

Leadership

Sunpro President Greg Templeman

GREG TEMPLEMAN

President

As President, Greg oversees the operations, management, and strategic direction of a company with 16 locations across Utah and Idaho. The locations range in size and function from large lumber yards and production facilities for wall panels, trusses, doors & moldings to small retail hardware stores.

MATT MCDONALD

Vice President of Building Materials

Matt oversees the lumber and millwork divisions, accounting for the majority of Sunpro’s business. Leading the sales and operations teams, Matt directs customer-centric initiatives that focus on delivering reliable service and excellent customer experiences.

STEVE BROADBENT

Vice President of Specialty Products

Steve is the Vice President of Specialty Products which consists of products and service offerings that are complementary to Sunpro’s lumber and millwork products including manufactured trusses, insulation, and garage doors. Additionally, Steve leads the operations of Sunpro’s retail, and fuel locations.

Division Manager

Jason oversees 7 of Sunpro's 12 lumber locations. These locations are spread along the Wasatch Front, Northern Utah and Boise, Idaho. Jason's many years of operational experience and expertise helps Sunpro to deliver quality products and services on time and in full.
