Congratulations to the Sunpro Rewards photo contest winners from our recent trip to Africa! Three valued customers won additional Rewards points to be used on future trips.
This was the first time a photo contest had been part of a Sunpro Rewards trip. The initiative was put into place to promote the Sunpro Rewards Program and help customers and employees share lasting memories.
Taking place from September 15-23, 2022, 49 customers and employees traveled to Nairobi, Kenya before heading to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Throughout the week, guests met elephants, giraffes, and many other forms of wildlife on a hot air balloon safari.
With every safari participant, Sunpro paid the school fees required to send an African child to school—a child who would otherwise stay home due to extreme poverty.
Guests also traveled to the Harambee Centre Library as well as the headquarters of Huru International to learn more about efforts to improve life for locals within the community.
In the photo contest, Kevin Wardle won first place for his stoic photo (above) of a parent elephant and calf. He received 100,000 additional Sunpro Rewards Points.
In second place, Camille Nichols took a dignified photo of local residents and earned 50,000 points.
For his serene photo of two lions resting in the savanna, Josh Wardle finished in third place, collecting 25,000 Sunpro Rewards Points.
