The North American Hardware and Paint Association (NHPA) honored Sunpro President Greg Templeman as one of its 2021 Top Gun Award recipients on October 22, 2021, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The NHPA Top Gun Awards recognize retailers who are pillars of innovation, commitment and passion for the independent home improvement channel. The honorees were selected for growing their operations through strategic leadership with consideration for their communities and their teams.
As President of Sunpro, Greg oversees the operations, management, and strategic direction of a company with 16 locations across Utah and Idaho. The locations range in size and function from large lumber yards and truss and door production facilities to small retail hardware stores.
Greg was honored by the award and was quick to pass the recognition along. He said, “Thank you to the NHPA for recognizing Sunpro as a 2021 Top Gun Retailer. This award belongs to all the Sunpro managers and associates that make the Sunpro retail experience top notch with every customer interaction.”
In addition to Greg, the NHPA honored two additional recipients this year, including Mike Brackin (President, Homco Lumber & Hardware) and Ian McNaughton (Owner, Bancroft Home Hardware, Gravenhurst Home Hardware and Parry Sound Home Hardware).
